"Once again, Jan Mohan from Whitchurch, Shropshire, ventured North in pursuit of a traditional Cumberland bottomless Tickle Wrestling bout - and once again she emerged victorious and exhilarated.

Jan took on Liz Pearson, a redoubtable opponent from Egremont. Despite registering  a submission, she lost to Pearson's tickle orgasm in a bottomless lingerie bout. Nevertheless, she remains enthusiastic about bottomless Tickle Wrestling. 'There are more variations allowed for bottomless Tickle Wrestlers within the regulations - bikini, underwear, lingerie and t-shirt - than any other category,' pointed out Jan after the contest, 'but, as it stands at the moment, I know I'll almost certainly have to travel to Cumberland frequently if I want to compete bottomless on a regular basis. Not that I mind visiting the Lake District - it's beautiful - but I can't accumulate that many points under the scoring system operated by North Midlands Area Tickle Wrestling Association [under whose jurisdiction Jan is registered] if I'm constantly taking on opponents from the North West Area." So why doesn't she transfer her registration? "It's a complex procedure which, in theory, can take anything up to ten years and involves temporary suspensions from the sport. There are exceptions - special cases such as Annie Benes [the Hungarian-born Tickle Wrestler who won the first-ever all-nude Tickle Wrestling match in the UK] - but, for most full-time British Tickle Wrestlers, changing Area allegiance from your birthplace isn't a wise move.'

Isn't there anyone willing to Tickle Wrestle bottomless in the North Midlands Area? 'The key word here is "willing",' Jan emphasised. 'I suppose I could Tickle Wrestle nude or in a bikini in my home Area until a competitor registered with the North Midlands Association is pulled metaphorically kicking and screaming into a bottomless bout against me - it would happen, eventually - but, to my mind, half the fun of a Tickle Wrestling match is taking on an opponent who's as comfortable as I am with the "dress category" she's competing in. Geographically, the nearest Tickle Wrestler to me who's prepared to participate bottomless is Belinda Phillips from Clitheroe - that's in Lancashire, so she's as much under the authority of the North West Area Tickle Wrestling Association as the Cumberland girls are - and, even then, her actual first preference is to Tickle Wrestle nude."

'But I love Tickle Wrestling when I'm naked from the waist downwards,' concluded Jan, enthusiastically. 'I find it wonderfully exciting, and I'll do whatever it takes to compete in as many bottomless bouts as I can.' "
