"Last month, Nicola Loughlin travelled up to Cumbria, the wild-and-woolly frontier of the North West, for a bottomless underwear bout in the hope of ending a losing run - but returned disappointed.
Competing bottomless for the first time in her career, Loughlin appeared to underestimate tough-as-teak local girl Sally Maddocks and, as a result, went down to a straightforward defeat by two submissions to nil.
The blonde Maddocks constantly consigned her Salford opponent on to the mat before attacking her ticklish bare feet. Although she seemed somewhat obsessed with the tactic it paid off well, the hapless Loughlin laughing herself to exhaustion. The first submission occurred when the Cumbrian simply sat on the prone Loughlin's ankles and pulled them together before tickling the sensitive and attractive soles of her bare feet. Loughlin whooped with dismay and immediately signalled her surrender.
Loughlin seemed almost out on her bare feet at this point, and the Workington girl didn't help her by engulfing her upper body from the front, bending her at the hips by 90 degrees and tickling her oxters for an uninterrupted five minutes. Loughin vainly attempted to pull backwards out of the hold, her clearly-visible bare buttocks quivering up and down rapidly as her entire body shook due to her struggles and her uncontrollable laughter. Just as she was on the verge of yielding, Maddocks allowed her limp body to slip down on to the mat before successfully repeating her first submission move, tickling Loughlin's soft, curling bare toes until she begged her to stop.
As a result of this match, Maddocks rises from No. 24 to No. 19 in the North West Tickle Wrestling Area list of Championship contenders, exchanging places with Loughlin."
