"Fans of judo convert Donna Francis who thought that her comprehensive Tickle Wrestling defeat against Amanda Flowers in August was a one-off were disappointed last night when her second bout resulted in a loss to Japanese tourist Kyoto Suzuki.

In her first bout of a nine-month tour of the North of England, Suzuki, who only arrived in the country six days ago, clearly outclassed her blonde opponent and gained a victory by two submissions to nil in a bikini contest at The Bottom Ten Ballroom in Bootle.

The turning point of the bout came when both girls' bikini tops came off during the course of a stand-up tickling clinch. This seemed to affect Francis badly, and she spent most of the remainder of the bout with her arms positioned far too high for practical Tickle Wrestling as though over-protective of her chest area.

During the break after the first submission, Francis's numerous corner assistants tried frantically to repair and replace her bikini top but it soon came off again when the Tickle Wrestling resumed.

Kyoto gave a competent display, subjecting the writhing body of her Ellesmere Port opponent to bursts of exhausting tickling. Both of the submissions were gained in a similar way, the Japanese girl pinning Francis's ankles together on the mat and tickling the soles of her bare feet until she had no choice but to yield."
